Playroom/Office in progress!

 Playroom / Home Office Project
I wanted to take my terra cotta BLAH room and make it fun and useful for my 4 year old and myself.
This is what I've come up with so far...
I'm still working on it, so check back for more!!
Or sign up for the BubbleCrumb Newsletter to get it as it happens!

This was the room BEFORE I started. I painted the walls
HARDWARE by Sherman Williams.

I found this idea on Pinterest!
So cute! Just Vinyl lettering and picture hanging wire with mini clothes pins I found at Michael's!

I LOVE IKEA! I came up with this idea in bed one morning.
I remembered seeing picture frames resting on a shelf and thought
it may work for books too!!

The Ribba picture ledge was $14.99 and I used 2.

This light fixture was for me. I just LOVE it!! I bought it on Overstock.com
There are a few other things in this room that I will highlight at a later date.

 Cut these myself!

This was another bedroom idea. I needed a place for my little one's coloring books and paper.
IKEA had the SPONTAN magazine rack for $9.99 It was silver and I spray painted it black.
I added some white vinyl wording and voila! Too cute!

Williams Sonoma has the most AMAZING cook's tools. I can spend hours in their stores staring at copper pots and sampling pumpkin bread in the winter. Now that I have seen this unbelievable pie making machine from Breville, I must have it!! Make sweet pies, savory pies and more!

Summer Drink Ideas!

Summer Entertaining Drink Ideas!

Giving your guests lots of choices at a party is an important part of entertaining. Try using different beverage servers such as these Willow House Savannah Beverage Servers easily labeled with ribbon and name cards.
My favorite Sangria recipe is simply using:
  • Carlo Rossi Sangria (in the wine department of your local store)
  • Dole pine-orange juice
  • Ginger ale
  • and a little rum!
SOOO good!

If you want several different options, you may want to try an instant drink mix such as Willow House's 3 beverage mixes that makes life much easier doesn't it? Just add water and spirits!

Willow House really does have the most attractive and sturdy entertaining pieces. I especially love my Entertaining Bucket and stand and the Nola Bucket and stand.

The great thing is that these sturdy entertaining pieces also double as organizing solutions!
Try plants, towels, books and magazines or even firewood!

Rice Crispie Picnic

What a cute way to have fun with your kids this summer! Make rice crispie burgers and rice crispie watermelon!

I came across this adorable idea at Dine & Dish. How fun to be able to cook with your kids, then spread out a blanket in the back yard for a summer picnic! I love making rice crispie treats! Sometimes I use different cereals like fruit loops or mix in ingredients like peanut butter or m&m's! For more recipes visit my recipe site www.bubblecrumb.com
